There are probably some explanations why your pet ceased on using the cat litter tray. It could have become dirty or too smelly. Secondly, you may have selected the wrong type of litter like crystals, pellets and other materials that don’t clump. Moreover, your box may have been placed at a spot that is hardly recognizable by your pet. In some cases, your cat may have been blocked by the existence of another domineering feline or house dog that prevents it from going towards its proper litter box. Lastly, your box or tray may be too small for your pet. Just make sure that you select the tray that is appropriate for the breed and size of your pet.
